Ishrat initially started his career as a table player 15 years ago, and eventually started singing which is his still his strength. He won the Radio City Super Singer Award in 2016 and the WoW Factor in 2017. He performed with various bands and individual artists before becoming an indispensable member of the band.
When it comes to the band, his dreams are bigger and he is determined to seeing them through. He sees himself performing in front of a large crowd at Wembley stadium with Meghdhanush brothers. Ishrat’s personal goals are massive too! He has aspirations to be a playback singer for Bollywood and entertain the whole of India.
Apart from lending his soulful voice to Meghdhanush’s Indian-Rock music, he loves to sing songs of the Sufi and Bollywood Folk genre. When he isn’t singing or making people laugh, he spends his time honing his classic and western vocal techniques. No matter what language the songs are in, he can readily capture their sentiments and sing in way that makes the listeners feel each emotion. He recently acquired a new skill as a lyric writer.
